Cottage Svinec is situated nearby to Nový Jičín city (4 km) and approximately 500m from top of hill Svinec - (547 m.o.o.). The top of the hill Svinec isn't too high but thanks its position it is a part of most beautiful places of Beskydy Mountains. Anyone who is walking by this way knows what nice views this unobtrusive hill of the west of Beskydy Mountains provides. These are above all exquisite panoramic views.

There is an accommodation with capacity 40 beds here. 27 beds is in rooms with own sanitary facilities (1x6 beds; 3x4 beds – there is a possibility in one of four-bedded rooms for an additional bed; and next ones are 4x2 beds). 13 beds are in rooms on the first floor (3x3 beds; 2x2 beds) – these rooms have a common sanitary facility.
You will find here a common room with fire and TV. You can pass many pleasant moments there especially during winter period when frost rage outside and a man is at rest near fire with a glass of something good after his skiing. For housed guests is also available a daily room (dining room) with TV.
It is possible order fare depending on your individual stay program: a breakfast only; half board; full board.
Public and housed ones may use restaurant with a stove and bar where they can order refreshment and lay off after their sports achievements (ski; bicycle; tourism) or only spend a nice in the pleasant environment time without any reason. There is an outside sitting here during summer period – beautiful long summer evenings invite you for a barbecue on a open fire.

Winter: A big ski-drag is directly at the cottage and it is 450m long. A smaller drag “Vcelinek” is situated about 150m from the cottage and this one is long 150m. Third one is a 100m long corded drag for smallest skiers which lies nearby of a down station of the big drag.

Summer: Tourism; mountain-biking; a possibility of usage of multipurpose playgrounds (volleyball, football-tennis, tennis, handball, football, indoor football) in the local town Kojetin (700m). In the cottage is a possibility to lend mountain bikes, Russian skittles, croquet, petanque or table tennis. Free swimming is in near natural reservoir Čerťák.

Next sports and cultural activities are possible at downtown of Nový Jičín (inner and outdoor swimming – pools; squash; bowling; tennis courts; theatre; museum; historical sights; cinema; discothèque; bars; restaurants). Possibilities for half or one day hiking are in the near surroundings (museum and historical city centre Nový Jičín, Kunín castle, castles Hukvaldy and Helfštýn; Štramberská Trůba and outlook - tower on the White Hill; chair lift to Pustevny; aragonite caves of Zbrašov; gorge in Teplice nad Bečvou; ruins of castle of Starý Jičín; open-air museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and many others).
